At Meihoku Training, we prepare students for real-world job environments through our comprehensive Construction & Manufacturing Training Program. Our approach combines Japanese language training, workplace discipline, and hands-on skill development to ensure students are ready to perform safely and efficiently in Japan’s industrial sector under TITP and SSW pathways.

Career & Work Information

After completing the program, students can work across a wide range of construction sites and manufacturing facilities in Japan, contributing to essential industries and gaining international work experience.

Visa Pathways:

Technical Intern Training Program (TITP – Construction & Manufacturing)

Training Duration:
- Year 1: Technical Intern Training (i)
- Year 2–3: Technical Intern Training (ii)
- Year 4–5: Technical Intern Training (iii) (available only if certain requirements are met)

Family accompaniment: Not permitted
Opportunity to transition to SSW Type 1 after successful completion

Specified Skilled Worker (SSW – Construction/Manufacturing, Type 1)

Maximum stay: Up to 5 years
Requires renewal based on performance and compliance
Family accompaniment: Not permitted (unless upgraded to SSW Type 2)

These pathways provide a strong foundation for long-term employment in Japan, with opportunities to advance skills, increase earnings, and potentially transition to higher-level roles under SSW Type 2.

Training & Education at Meihoku Training

At Meihoku Training, students receive Japanese language education, industry-specific communication training, and practical skill preparation designed for construction and manufacturing environments.

Japanese Language Education

- Focus on achieving at least JLPT N4–N3 level
- Preparation for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test
- Industry-specific vocabulary and instructions

Construction & Manufacturing Skills Training

- Basic construction and factory work processes
- Introductory use of tools and equipment
- Quality control and efficient work practices
- Practical training based on real job-site scenarios
- Understanding safety signs and workplace communication
- Safety procedures and hazard awareness

Workplace Etiquette & Cultural Training

- Understanding Japanese work discipline and responsibility
